Coronation Street Viewers are convinced that Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne), whose alcoholism has relapsed and led to liver failure, will survive.
His outlook is not good and his condition looks so bad that even Adam Barlow won't tell the police the truth and believes it was Peter who attacked him.
However, viewers believe Peter has been offered a lifeline in the form of a liver transplant, which could turn his situation around.
But who can become a donor, and will it happen in time?
One viewer tweeted: “Pete's had his transplant so maybe we can have a few more wild nights. Come on Christmas.” #Collie ” “.
“if Follow Heading into liver transplant stories! #Collie” another added.
A third predicted: “Peter will end up having a liver transplant like Phil Mitchell.” #EastEnders #Collie '.
Another wrote: “It was obvious the transplant storyline was inevitable. It just dragged on and on!”
A fifth said: “I highly doubt it. #Collie They'll kill Peter off, which unfortunately they'll do for drama, and then Peter will have a liver transplant and be perfectly fine for a few more years, and he and Carla will forgive and get it.
“That's pathetic and untrue. Life should show its true impact and let him die of alcoholic liver disease.”
After being robbed and comforted by a stranger who gave him some whiskey in the hopes that it would help him, Peter fell back into alcoholism.
Peter then had a terrible fight with Carla, which led to her sleeping with Adam in revenge, and Peter turning to alcohol.
After learning of Peter's diagnosis of failure to sustain life support, Carla's heart softened and she felt a desire to care for him.
But Peter rejected her, saying it was too late, that there was not much time left.
Is this really the end of Peter, or can someone donate in time to save his life?
