Christmas came early for youngster Daithi Mac Gaban as he got to meet some of his Liverpool heroes.
Daithi, from Ballymurphy, west Belfast, needs a heart transplant and has now been registered for more than 2,000 days.
The seven-year-old has been fighting a brave battle with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) since he was a baby, and while he waited more than 2,000 days on the transplant list, his indomitable spirit has helped inspire a remarkable campaign called Donate4Dáithí.

This morning, several heartwarming pictures were shared on the campaign's Facebook page showing Daithi, from Belfast, meeting Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, who gave him his usual warm embrace.
Daithi was also pictured meeting Liverpool star Mohamed Salah at Anfield, the day after their side's 4-3 win over Fulham in the Premier League.
The Facebook page also shared pictures from the weekend when Daithi attended the SSE Arena to watch Michael Conlan play, making him a familiar face to many at sporting events of all kinds in Northern Ireland.
Daisi's influence has crossed borders and led to the introduction of the Daisi Law, a legal testament to the enormous impact this young warrior had on policy and society.
Wee Dicey was made a Freeman of Belfast, symbolising not only his bravery but also the profound impact the operation had on the psyche of the city.
While Dáithí's family and the Donate4Dáithí campaign celebrate these victories, they stress that the fight is not over – Dáithí was temporarily taken off the transplant list over the summer – she is still waiting for a new heart and normalising organ donation in society remains an urgent task.
