John Brennan of Dundalk, founder of Irish transplant football, receives a second chance in his life from his brother with kidneys. He is now looking forward to playing football again.

Dundalk native John Brennan may have missed out on playing for Ireland in the Transplant World Cup in Italy, but he has not complained as he was given the gift of life through a second organ donation.

John, founder of Irish Transplant Football, had a heart transplant in 2018, but is recovering from a kidney transplant.
