Eight-year-old Rex also knows that his father is too ill to play tennis or football with him, but he can still play Xbox.
He also knows what will help his father get better.
“Eat healthy, don't eat unhealthy, and take your pills every day,” he said.
“And then getting a donor. So if he's on the donor list and he gets a donor, he can get a transplant and then get a kidney.”
