A Ballygar man is cycling across the country with a dialysis machine to raise awareness about the importance of organ donation.
Peter Conboy's wife, Liz Conboy, was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease at the age of 14 and underwent a kidney transplant.
The cyclist is fundraising for the Irish Kidney Society CLG and wants to raise awareness of the services they provide.

He started his journey from Temple Street Children's Hospital last Wednesday and is expected to stop in Ballinasloe around noon today before heading to Loughrea.
Peter will complete his cycle at National Memorial Garden Salthill on Sunday to pay his respects to Liz's donor family.
