Approximately 30,000 euros have been raised for Emma Healy in Tramore, Colorado Waterfordhas a very rare idiopathic anemia.
The gofundme page begins, and Emma and her familyHe will need to go to Glasgow for a bone marrow transplant and could be there for a few months.
I'll read the gofundme page,
“Emma had her 10th birthday on February 26th. Unfortunately for Emma, she celebrated it with her family at Crumlin Children's Hospital. Emma was diagnosed with idiopathic anemia (bony marrow disorder).
“Emma currently needs a bone marrow transplant, which will take place at Royal Hospital in Glasgow in the coming weeks as there is no hospital in Ireland to do them for their children.

“Emma has three brothers, Evie, Billy and Tommy. All of these have been tested as bone marrow donors. Her brother Billy has proven to be the best match in 14 months and he travels to Glasgow to donate whenever he needs to.
“Emma is now walking the tightrope until she arrives in Glasgow. The bumps, bleeding, bruises and infections have returned to the hospital, which has happened many times over the past few weeks.
“Emma and her mother, Edwina, will need to spend at least three months in Glasgow. Emma needs chemotherapy and radiation before transplantation and then recovers following an actual bone marrow transplant.
“After this three-month stay in Glasgow, Emma faces a long period of up to a year, which is extremely medically complicated, requiring rapid treatment of multiple different drugs and infections.
“Emma is a cheerful and extremely kind girl. She always has a big smile on her face. She loves to read, loves sparkle, and really loves school. She has not been able to attend school or activities since February and can't do so until six months after the transplant.
“Emma's Mam Edwina is currently her full-time caregiver and is unable to work, which will continue as long as Emma needs full-time care.
“This is a family that has turned the world upside down, and faces the worries that parents face as they watch their parents go through this horrifying ordeal, their perfectly healthy child suddenly becomes ill, her brother suddenly becomes a donor of her bone marrow, and the worries they face.
“Money should be the least worried about their worries in the coming months, but unfortunately one parent can't make it work, so it's easy to make this ordeal and give the family everything to make Emma healthy, go back to school and basically go back to kids again.”
